Cookies & browser storage
The planner does not set advertising cookies. It uses browser storage to save the binders and choices you ask it to remember, plus limited privacy-friendly statistics that you can disable.
What this covers
Cookies are only one way a website can store information on a device. This notice also covers local storage, IndexedDB and similar storage and access technologies.
The application code currently sets no HTTP cookies. It primarily uses IndexedDB and local storage. If that storage is blocked, some features may work only temporarily and may disappear when the page closes.
Binder library
Storage: IndexedDB database ptcg-vc, with local-storage fallback ptcg-vc:binders.
Purpose: Stores up to five binder layouts, card positions, ownership markers and the information needed to reopen them in this browser.
Duration: Until you delete a binder or clear this site's browser data. This storage is necessary to provide the persistent binder library you request.
Creating or editing a binder does not by itself upload that binder. A snapshot leaves the browser only when you deliberately create a shared link.
Preferences and cache
Preferences: ptcg-vc:prefs remembers choices such as light or dark mode, active binder, currency, page animation, zoom, panel layout and dismissed guidance.
Price cache: ptcg-vc:prices avoids repeatedly downloading the same available price information.
Duration: Until replaced, removed by the application or cleared through your browser. These records adapt and improve the planner according to choices made in this browser.
Anonymous statistics
The site stores a random installation identifier, the latest reporting time and your statistics choice under keys beginning ptcg-vc:stats-. The identifier prevents one participating browser being counted repeatedly.
The identifier is immediately converted to a one-way hash by the Worker. It is used only to produce aggregate information about service use with a view to maintaining and improving the planner—not for advertising, individual profiling or decisions about you. The server-side hashed browser record expires after 30 days of inactivity.
Checking this browser's setting…
You can object free of charge using the button above. Disabling statistics does not remove or affect your binders and does not prevent any planner feature from working.
Cloudflare Analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics measures aggregate visits and page performance. Cloudflare states that it does not use cookies, local storage or other client-side state for these usage metrics and does not fingerprint visitors.
Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies if it presents a browser challenge or applies an enabled bot-protection feature. These cookies are used to establish that a security check was passed or to protect the service from malicious traffic, not for advertising.
Cloudflare's ordinary network and security processing is explained separately in Privacy & data.
Ko-fi and external sites
The Ko-fi donation iframe is created only after you deliberately open the donation panel. Ko-fi and its payment providers may then set or access their own cookies or browser storage under their own policies.
Cardmarket and eBay are not loaded as embedded services; a connection is made only if you follow one of their links. TCGdex requests provide card data and imagery but do not read the site's binder storage.
Manage or clear storage
Delete individual binders through Open my binders, or remove all locally stored information using your browser's site-data controls for pokemontcgvc.com. Browser menus vary, but this is usually found under privacy, cookies or site data.
Export a JSON backup first. Clearing site data permanently removes binders, preferences and cached information from that browser. A PDF or spreadsheet cannot be imported to restore a binder.
